The Central Ohio Digital Interconnect Group is a group of dedicated amateur radio enthusiasts who want to further digital modes of communication in the Central Ohio area. We have been active in packet, APRS, VOIP and have pioneered new technologies such as D-Star digital voice and data connectivity, APCO P25 and Mototrbo DMR.

NOTICE: July 2016

Sometime during the week of July 25th we will be doing some maintenance on the D-Star repeaters that will require them to be off the air. It will happen during the work day and hopefully be completed in that same day.

Columbus Hamfest: August 6th 2016

We will be attending the Columbus Hamfest at the new Aladdin Shrine Center in Grove City. Get more information by visiting www.columbushamfest.com. We will have a table inside near The Central Ohio Severe Weather Network and other organizations. We will have a couple laptops and cables to help users program their radios. Stop by and say hello, find out more about digital radio modes and how they differ from each other.
